RAD RACE CRIT Event recap
RAD RACE CRIT ROTTERDAM
What a great field trip to Rotterdam it was!
Meeting tons of friends from all over the place, watching awesome races & competitions and gettin’ to know the gnarly sport of bike polo a little better…
That’s our weekend in a nutshell!
Thanx everybody for the memories. It was a blast!
The CRIT itself was absolutely high voltage!

This is how everything went down...
The rolling start was real smoove… every single rider was so antsy in his pantsies that the safety moto had trouble keeping all those young bucks and warrior women at bay. Once the safety-lap was over, boy... it was on - full throttle & no holding back!
RAD PACK Teamrider Simon Haer was the first one to really draw attention to himself by starting a solo escape halfway through the 9th lap. He was rewarded by winning the 10th lap prime and cashing in 50€ -sponsored by iriedaily. Haer managed to extend his lead to almost 16 seconds before the rest of the pack finally had enough of it and decided to collectively pick up the pace, show the escape artist his limits and get in position for a sprint finish!
Actually Bram Linnartz showed everybody that he had some high ambitions as well when he took off and tried wrapping this thing up alone!
But in the deciding last lap all the sprinters really got into position well and Tim Ceresa (8bar bikes) exploded to finally one up his result from so many previous efforts. Congratulations Tim for winning the ROTTERDAM CRIT in such a powerful way!
The women’s race was dominated by Marion Dziwnik (RSU). Marion established her lead real early in the race and never let go of it again. Consequently she snatched the 50€ 10th lap prime -sponsored by iriedaily- and even managed to keep enlarging the gap between her and her competitors all the way to the final lap. The real suspense happened in the battle for spots 2 and 3 on the podium. Here Mianzi Rei (Team Schindelhauer-Gates) was able to beat Astrid Hübner (KUZ) to the spot earning second honors.
We had an absolut blast and enjoyed every minute of the 2015 edition of FIXED DAYS!
Hopefully Raphael will heal up fast!
And we absolutely feel like you guys rocked Coolsingel a lot harder than many other riders who rode that dutch boulevard last sunday ;-)
Thanx for coming out to play!!!
It was an honor of having you all.
Now make sure ya'll make it out to Heidbergring in August to go camping & racing with the RAD RACE FAMILY !!!
